New Horizons
This shawl is inspired by the new horizons we all chase in our lives; school, work, love, family, and so much more.
This three color shawl uses colorwork, slipped stitches, and lace.
Materials
Three colors of fingering weight yarn
 Color A—approximately 70 yards
 Color B—approximately 225 yards
 Color C—approximately 325 yards
US 4 needle
Scissors
Yarn needle
4 stitch markers
Tips
- Choose three colors that contrast to make the pattern easier to see.
 - In the colorwork rows, be sure to carry the yarn on the wrong side.
 - The pattern rows are all written out on page 3. Keep that page handy: you’ll need to reference it throughout the instructions.
 - Stitch counts are provided at the end of each section, but know that there will be an increase of 4 sts on every RS row.
 - Check-boxes are included in the pattern instructions to help keep track of your progress. Use them as you wish.
 - Finishing Tip: Weave in the ends on the backside, leaving the ends until after blocking. This way the ends won’t shift during blocking, possibly unweaving themselves a bit.
