I love wearing my New Leaf Wrap. It feels elegant with vines flowing all over the surface. I feel pampered in the drapey, soft warmth of merino cashmere. I usually wear it with the purple side out because every colour in Marianated Yarns Berry Best gradient set is a favourite. When I’m in a quieter mood, I wear it with the soft grey side showing but I always let a bit of the purple peek out .

The New Leaf Wrap is worked in modified Fusion Knitting where the cablework feels similar to cabling in most other patterns. The long edge of the wrap is cast on and the fringe is created as you knit. Note: this wrap is similar to Love It or Leaf It Wrap but is MUCH easier to knit. I was honestly shocked by how quickly the test knitters mastered this pattern.

I love the fading effect of a gradient with Fusion Knitting. This wrap is also striking with two solid/tonal colours too.
