This listing is for a fabulous Newborn Baby Sock Knitting Pattern, with no wrap and turns necessary to make the heel! Instead, it introduces you to the little known German short row method which creates the same shaping with the regular ‘wrap and turn’ short rows, but no wrapping is required! This method is not only easier, but looks neater and feels smoother inside the heel, making it more comfortable on baby’s feet.

I also provide in-depth written instructions to graft the toe section by knitting the stitches, rather than sewing them, which creates a lovely neat toe edge with a professional finish.

You will receive a Pdf of your pattern once payment has been received, which will be available for immediate download. This Pdf will provide clear instructions on how to make these adorable little socks. My instructions are very detailed and piecemeal, enabling the novice learner to attempt to make a pair of baby socks.

In order to prepare, you will require a set of 2.5mm DPN’s and 4 ply yarn. These socks were made using Debbie Bliss Rialto 4 ply yarn, which is 100% Merino wool, extrafine superwash.
