This is a PDF knitting pattern for a newborn bonnet made with lace weight yarn.
It is perfect for a beginner to intermediate knitter.

This uses basic knitting stitches with 11 detailed photos to help you to make your own bonnet. The bonnet is knitted on straight size 3 needles. You will not need to use circular needles or double pointed needles.
It is written in standard American terms with colorful photos to help with some of the important parts.
Sizing:
The pattern is for NEWBORN size only.

Difficulty:
Beginner - Intermediate (note: very simple lace stitch is used with explanation).

Materials required:
Size 3 (3.25 mm) knitting needles
Yarn: Fine mohair yarn Fingering 2 ply yarn – 5rg (about 1/4 oz). You can use any fine wool, angora, mohair of acrylic yarn.
Yarn needle (plastic or metal), Scissors
