This Bonnet pattern #37 made to fit newborn babies only with head circumference approximately 14” (35-36 cm).

The pattern has many detailed photos to help with tricky points.

Beginners level Pattern by FeltSoapGood

Yarns:
• DK weight yarn or medium 8 ply wool yarn – 1 ounce (30 gr) about 100 yards (90m).
• Fingering weight (very fine) mohair or angora yarn 1/5 of oz (5 gr)
An Angora or mohair blend yarn will give you nice “fluffy” halo effect. I used pure wool
yarn with addition of a mohair fine yarn for the body of the bonnet in this project. The ruffle is knitted with only fine mohair yarn.
In stockinette stitch (knit one row, purl one row), 9 st by 13 rows is approximately 2” x 2”.
This bonnet is slightly stretchy.
SIZING: Made to fit newborn babies only, with head circumference approximately 14” (35-36 cm).

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner.
You need to know basic Knit and Purl stitches, how to cast on and cast (bind) off.
Special thanks to Jordan of KameolynnKnits for the purple bonnet knitting and photographing.
