This is my newborn version of the old Long Johns complete with a buttoned tush flap in the back and an adorable stocking cap to match. I have included instructions to make with/without the tush flap.

Skills needed: k, p, ssk, k2tog, yo, co, bo, p2tog, kfb, pick up sts

Cascade 220 Sport #3 in Doeskin 260yds
US size 7 4.5 mm circulars AND a set of double-pointed needles
4 Stitch markers
3 Stitch holders or scrap yarn
9-11 buttons 5/8”
2 buttons 1” (optional for hat)
Tapestry needle

Gauge
22 sts x 28 = 4” 10 cm in St st, to save time, take time to check gauge.
