Newport Check Hat was inspired by the many cars that line Thames Street in Newport, RI during a usual summer season. In the year 2020 because of the Corvid-19, traffic will not fill the streets and will be missed.

The hat uses two skeins, one light and one dark colored, of DK yarn for a mosaic pattern. The pattern is easy and uses only one color every two rows. You slip the stitch of the color that you are not using in the row.

The hat sizing will fit a toddler, child, teen and adult women and men.
