Knit Newstalgia, a boomerang-shaped shawl that starts with just a few stitches and grows wider and longer as you knit it. It has layers of ruffles at the border created with Lola’s Two-Timing Technique which flutter fabulously.

Newstalgia was designed for 2024’s N Club; the pattern will be released to all in August 2025. Sign up for my newsletter if you want to hear about future clubs and when Newstalgia releases.

There is also a bandana version of Newstalgia for those who crave a neck-kerchief. If you are working from a kit you’ll be able to knit both the shawl and the bandana, so knit one for you and one for a friend!

The pattern has two options for working with beads if your Newstalgia craves some bling and a detailed video tutorial to help Newstalgia flow off your needles.
