Ngaru Moana
Ngaru Moana (Ocean waves in Te Reo Maori) is the 11th square to be released in the popular FATW3 CAL (Friends Around the World CAL). This is my first published design and I am grateful to so many people for trusting that “I had it in me” :). To Laurene Leeseburg Bluder for inviting me to participate, Claire Sutcliffe for her amazing patience with testing and to Margaret Killinger Krueger for her support and guidance and Jo McCahen Schaefer who kept me onto it re social media ;)
Stephanie of Crochet O’Clock who is hosting my pattern and for making my fabulous YouTube tutorial is both a dear friend, confidante, advisor and who inspires me daily to be a ‘better hooker’ :slightly_smiling_face: <3
My original design and colour choice was inspired by the oceans that surround our beautiful country Aotearoa (New Zealand), which as you will know is made up of two islands. Our seas can go from from turbulent to calm and stormy to mirror like, and the colours are simply amazing. My love and passion for NZ inspires me in many things that I do and more often than not in the colours that I choose for my crochet.
I trust that you will enjoy making this square as much as I enjoyed designing it. Kia ora.

I would ask that when you download my pattern that you do so from Crochet O’Clock as this helps me to keep a track on how many times it has been downloaded and any logistics that go along with that :)
