Ni Ju Ni is the twenty-second day of the 2017 Advent calendar: twenty-four patterns, one a day, to learn to count in Chinese.

It is written 二十二: two, then the cross of ten, then two again. Two times ten, and two.

This hat is covered in four-stitch cables, one crossing to the left, the next to the right, staggered, above a deep 1/1 ribbed brim, tall enough to fold up over the ears. It is knitted in the round, from the bottom up, in one ball of De Rerum Natura “Gilliat”.

Ni Ju Ni est le vingt-deuxième jour du calendrier de l’Avent 2017 : vingt-quatre modèles, un par jour, pour apprendre à compter en chinois.

Il s’écrit 二十二 : le deux, puis la croix du dix, puis le deux encore. Deux fois dix, et deux.

Ce bonnet est couvert de torsades à quatre mailles, croisées l’une à gauche, l’autre à droite, en quinconce, au-dessus d’une bordure profonde en côtes 1/1, assez haute pour se replier sur les oreilles. Il se tricote en rond, du bas vers le haut, dans une pelote de De Rerum Natura « Gilliat ».
