  • LEVEL: Advanced Beginner

  • YARN: C1: mohair, suri, or fingering weight (approx. 360 yds) C2, C3, C4: DK weight (approx. 118 yds in each color) C5, C6: worsted held double (approx. 125 yds in each color)

  • SUPPLIES: 5.5 mm and 7.0 mm hook, tapestry needle, scissors, measuring tape

  • GAUGE: (suri and DK held together) 13 sc x 13 rows = 4” x 4”

  • STITCHES: chain, single crochet, and surface crochet

  • NOTES: The Nicole Cowl is made in a flat piece and then stitched together on the short end. If you tend to crochet tightly, you may want to go up a hook size. The main part of the cowl is crocheted loosely to help make the surface crochet easier. The Nicole Cowl is super customizable. It’s a great stash buster!

  • SAMPLE: For my sample, I mixed a variety of yarns from my stash.
