Nid Mittens feature a slightly tight cable knit pattern that keeps your hands warm. Brighten up your winter mood with a charming yet sophisticated design. They also make a lovely gift. They start with the ribbing on the cuff, then the body of the mitten is knit. Next, the thumb is separated from the main body and both parts are knit to the tips.

4 mm (US 6) 80 cm / 32” circular (if using the magic loop technique) or double-pointed needles
3.5 mm (US 4) 80 cm / 32” circular (if using the magic loop technique) or double-pointed needles

Gauge
24 sts and 34 rows = 10 cm / 4” in Honeycomb pattern with 4 mm (US 6) needle (after wet blocking)
21 sts and 34 rows = 10 cm / 4” in Seed stich pattern with 4 mm (US 6) needle (after wet blocking)
Make sure to knit a swatch to check your gauge. If you can’t obtain the correct gauge, adjust needle sizes.
