This pattern is also available for purchase as part of the European Collection Part 2, which includes five sweaters and two hats.

Nidelva is a top-down seamless yoke sweater that is knit in the round. There is a double ribbed neckline with integrated increases, followed by short rows at the back of the neck for a comfortable fit. The yoke features stranded colourwork that has been inspired by Norwegian motifs. There is a full body little dot pattern, and the hem and cuffs are finished off with colourwork that reflects elements of the yoke pattern, and double ribbing. There is optional waist and hip shaping to add feminine shape.

Nidelva has been inspired by the Norwegian sweaters of the Setesdal region, which are the iconic sweaters most often associated with Norwegian knitting. The sweaters in this region feature a sequence of large and small patterns separated by double lines around the neck, shoulders and hem, and in between these bold motifs, the sweater is covered with little dots.
