Night Bite Shawl has simple yet effective lace motif for upper part of the shawl. Lace motif transforms into an airy arrow lace portion followed by mesh-like lace border.

The first and dominant lace pattern is easy to memorize and the size of the shawl is easily adjustable by changing lace repeat amounts. After simple lace, two more complex lace patterns just fly off your needles and the shawl is finished before you know it.

This triangular shawl is worked from neck down.

Lace parts of the pattern are in charts only, not as written instructions.

Skill level: Intermediate

Finished measurements: Height 70 cm (27,5”), width 180 cm (71”)

Metereage / Yardage: Knitted with lace weight yarn (Wollmeise Lace-Garn) this shawl takes approx. 530 m (580 yds) of yarn. Remember to reserve more yarn when knitting with heavier weight yarn.

Specification You can repeat chart 2 any amount of times you want. Every chart 2 repeat adds 16 sts to a shawl half (32 sts total) that is needed for chart 3.

Making odd number of repeats results in odd number of arrow motifs for shawl half that is more attractive.
