This pattern was released as an exclusive for Patrol 2 of the Sunnydale Yarn club in October 2014. It will be available for purchase in April 2015.

Inspired by the character of Drusilla from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, this shawlette reflects her twisted and troubled mind, while still being elegant and beautiful. The pattern is a top-down shallow triangle with a 3 stitch braided cable running down the center, sections of star stitches, and a lace edging.

The pattern has a finished wingspan of 40 inches and a finished length of 16 inches. Gauge is not crucial to this project, but almost the entire 400 yard skein was used to create the shawl as shown, please consider this when choosing yarn.

The lace patterns are both written out and charted.

To make this pattern, you should be familiar with knitting, purling, yarn overs, make one left and right, decreases, and cabling. It also features patterns inspired by Estonian lace (the star stitch and the 3 into 9 stitch).

Update: There is an error in this pattern in the first star stitch section. I will update the pattern and send it out ASAP, but until that time, if you are working on it, see this post for the correction.
