Inspired by all of the mystery and magic of the deep dark woods, Night Magic Cowl is a journey through the forest. The cowl is worked in the round, from the bottom up. The design features twisted rib cuffs, and stranded colourwork. The stranded colourwork is presented in chart format.

Cast-on, working in the round, knit, purl, stranded colourwork, reading charts, binding off.

Sample Yarn Used:
1 x 100 g/245 yds skein, Gingersnap Yarns, Squishy DK, 75/25 SW Merino/Nylon, in the colour Nightshade (MC/dark brown).
2 x 50 g/122 yds skeins, Gingersnap Yarns, Squishy DK, 75/25 SW Merino/Nylon, in the colour Conjurer (CC1/yellow) and Sage Bush (CC2/green).
1 x 20 g/49 yds skein, Gingersnap Yarns, Squishy DK, 75/25 SW Merino/Nylon, in the colour Hex (CC3/purple).
Yardage: 348 m/380 yds total. (188 yds MC, 59 yds CC1, 85 yds CC2, 48 yds CC3)
Suggested Needles:
3.5mm/US 4, 60cm/24” length for ribbing sections OR size(s) needed to obtain gauge.

3.75mm/US 5, 60cm/24” length for the stranded colourwork OR size(s) needed to obtain gauge.
