For some time, I’ve wanted to design a go-to cardigan that I can wear to any occasion. This cardigan is everything I envisioned and more.

It’s knitted from the top down, seamlessly, with raglan sleeves and a few short rows to shape the neckline. I love that the neck comes high enough with this sweater that I can actually stay warm… The sleeves are sleek but roomy that you can layer the sweater over any top.

I picked a delicate lace pattern to adorn the fronts of this design, but otherwise it is a very basic cardigan that you can dress up or down. To me, it’s the perfect travel companion. Light as a feather, but so warm, worked up in this cozy merino.
