The name
The name NIKE is pronounced nǐːkɛ, think NI-KE. So, it has nothing to do with the sports brand, which is pronounced nijke, think Nai-kee and rimes with spiky.

SIZE
The Havanna dress is somewhat small in design. It’s designed to be worn with no or negative ease. Very few bodies fall into standard measurements so have a look at what measurements are closest to yours and don’t be afraid of making adaptions (instrctions included in the pattern) so the dress fits you and your body.

Gauge: 17fp/bp dc x 11 rows = 10x10 cm
Suggestion: Crochet hook 3.25 mm (for a long dress, you also need 0.5mm and 1.00mm bigger hook than the one you needed to meet gauge)
Yarn: Capri (50g = 125m) from Katia or Rainbow lace (50g = 280m) two strand held together from hobbii, or any other (fingering weight/ 4ply yarn/ Superfine)
