This crescent shawl is knitted top-down by casting on six stitches. Edges are cleanly finished as knitting progresses with a slip stitch edge. The upper portion of the shawl is stockinette, contrasted by a lace vine motif that follows. The bottom edge of the shawl has a simple pattern to create a gentle wave.

Warn weight and needle size can be varied to obtain gauge as desired, although heavier yarns are not recommended due to the lacework.
