Nimbulus the Agile Dragon
Every part on Nimbulus is crocheted separately in continuous rounds and then attached by sewing. The tail has a metal wire so that you can shape it to ensure that Nimbulus can express all his feelings and keep the balance when he runs about. The pattern has images for guidance in both the crocheting part and the assembly.

Approximate size in DK weight yarn is 16.5 cm high and 21 cm long, which varies based on yarn weight, hook size and the tightness of the stitches.

There are two versions of the pattern, one in English with U.S. terminology and one in Swedish.
The pattern includes a printer-friendly version with few pictures.
You will also get a compendium with tips, descriptions and step-by-step pictures of the techniques involved (also two versions, English and Swedish).
Materials needed:
- Yarn in a main colour for body, head, legs and ears (I used DK weight, blue)
- Yarn in a secondary colour 1 for horns (I used DK weight, white with silver)
- Yarn in a secondary colour 2 for the tip of the tail (I used DK weight, purple)
- Thin, black, white and colourful yarn (I used turquoise) for eyes or safety eyes
- Stuffing
- Metal wire, I used stainless steel wire, 0.9 mm thick
I have used acrylic yarn (130 m by 50 g). If you use another yarn, make sure to change crochet hook accordingly.
