This blanket is dedicated to the memory of my three cats, Kidget, Jerry, and Cinnamon, whose long lives each came to an end as I was working on this book. We always knew having three cats so close in age meant they would all get old around the same time. I’m just glad I got to spend so much time sitting and crocheting blanket samples in their last few months, giving them company and a lap to sit on (when it wasn’t full of yarn).
