The stitch pattern used for this cowl is different but attractive on both sides, making it fully reversible. Easily memorized, it makes a great on-the-go project with no need to keep up with stitch counts. It is worked entirely in the round and the size is easy to modify to suit your preferences or yarn amounts available.

Skills required:
• Decreasing
• Yarn overs

Gauge and measurements:
• You should knit at a gauge that gives you a nice fabric with your yarn and adjust your cast-on if necessary, as instructed in the pattern.
• The single-loop version shown was worked in one skein of Malabrigo Rios at a gauge of 17 stitches and 27 rows in 4 inches of the pattern stitch. It measures approximately 9 1/2” tall and 24” around.
• The double-loop version shown was worked in 2 skeins of Freia Handpaints Ombre M/S Worsted at a gauge of 15 stitches and 30 rows of the pattern stitch. It measures approximately 10” tall and 48” around.

Samples knit in Knitwhits Freia Handpaints Ombre M/S Worsted (Refined) in Sulfur Springs and Malabrigo Yarn Rios in Plomo.
