Can’t make up your mind? Start with a headband, continue with a hat and add earflaps for a helmet style. Four color charts included.

SIZES: Child (med adult, large adult)

YARN: Worsted weight, 40 -190 yds of main color and 20 – 50 yds of contrasting color

NEEDLES: 16” circular sz 6 & sz 8

Worsted weight yarn:
Headband: 100 yards main color, 25 yards contrasting color
Hat/Helmet: 220 yards main color, 50 yards contrasting color

Need 2 different colors for the headband and 5 different colors (2 skeins mc) for the hat or helmet.

Add a cap to the headband and you have a classic style hat. Add earflaps to make a helmet, which will keep you toasty on cold and windy days.”
