This listing is for three PDFs - a US version of the pattern, a UK version of the pattern and a photo guide to help you make your own jar.

The patterns are print friendly and contain minimal photos (to save you ink). The Photo guide has close ups of how to construct each part of the jar.

These patterns assume some crochet knowledge, but it isn’t complex. The fish is worked in continuous rounds amigurumi style, mostly in sc/ dc stitches.

Pattern support is available is needed. Just drop me a message! :)

Please note - This pattern is also available for free on my blog. This version is a print friendly pattern with no adverts.

FAQ
- How big is the finished fish?
My fish is around 7cm ( 2 1/2 inches) from nose to tail. I crochet with a tight tension for amigurumi. If your fish is bigger, either tighten your tension or drop your hook and yarn size down.

What yarn/hook do you use?
I use Sirdar Cotton DK or Pattons Cotton DK. Both are a mercerised cotton and you should use very little, probably around 10g. I use a 2.5mm hook.

What jar do you use?
I use an Ikea Korken 0.5l jar which is approx 10cmx10cm

Do you tell me how to make the jar?
YES! Please check the photo guide (included as one of the three PDFs) for all the instructions of how to assemble the jar.

How does the fish move?
The fish is hanging from invisible thread.
