The no fuss knit is a quick and simple drop shoulder sweater pattern, aimed at beginner knitters. It is knit at a loose gauge, meaning it is lightweight and drapey despite being knit in aran/worsted weight yarn on 6mm needles. It is knit in stockinette and there are no finishings required. Using self-striping or other colour-changing yarn makes it particularly fun and addictive to knit. Because it is aimed at beginners, there are no abbreviations in the pattern.

The no fuss knit is worked bottom up. This is perfect for beginner knitters, as you will just be working stockinette in the round for a while before doing any purling, decreasing, and binding off stitches. Throughout the project, you will gradually learn these techniques. Some minimal seaming at the shoulders is required.
