Found instructions for this stitch in an old crochet magazine and decided to use it in a modern hat - I seem to make a lot of hats - and always like to do something different :D

There are photo’s to show the important points of the stitchwork; full written instructions and plenty of scope to adapt the pattern to slouch styles, for all ages/sizes.

The gauge isn’t critical for this project as each is made to measure, so to speak.
