An easy, beginner friendly, completely NO SEW PDF pattern to make a cute caterpillar. Can be completed in about an hour and is perfect for market prep or Easter/Spring makes. Pattern requires basic crocheting skills and is suitable for all skill levels. Includes detailed, easy to follow directions and pictures; a text-only copy of the pattern is also included.

Pattern is written for use with blanket/velvet/plush type yarn, but can be made with any yarn choice. Hobby Lobby Baby Bee Adore-a-ball yarn was used to make the examples in this pattern, which is considered a size 5 chunky yarn.

Finished Size: approximately 9 1/4” long, 3 1/4” tall (excluding antennae), 3 1/4” wide

Size will vary depending on yarn and tension used

Materials
1 skein Hobby Lobby Adore-a-ball yarn in color(s) of choice (3.5oz/100g)
Mint Charm, Bumble Bee, and Pink-a-Boo were used for the examples in this pattern.
Approximately 77 yards were used to complete the green caterpillar. You will not use the entire skein.
For a multi-color caterpillar, approximately 27 yards was used for the middle and last section, and 25 yards for the head.

-Similar yarn substitutes include Premier Parfait, Bernat Velvet yarn, size 5 bulky yarn or any size 4 yarn
NOTE: Final product may differ in appearance and size if choosing to use a yarn substitute. Placement of eyes and details, and may also need to be adjusted to achieve desired look depending on yarn and tension
