The basket is worked all in one piece using the linked half double crochet stitch throughout the majority of the pattern, which creates a sturdy and textured fabric. Medium weight cotton yarn is recommended for this project. One basket requires about 185 yards.

The finished basket measures approximately 7 inches wide and 13 inches in height with an additional 2 inches for the ring that it uses to hang from.
