About This Pattern

This pattern uses a unique “no sew” / “one piece” amigurumi style. You don’t have to sew on anything - the ears, snout, legs, and tail are all crocheted directly to the body. The only sewing you’ll need to do is the mouth and a few tiny seams.

The same pattern can be used to make both the dog and the bear cub. Instructions for the colorwork and changes are included.

This pattern is not recommended for beginners. It uses only simple stitches and is not hard to assemble, but requires careful attention to rows and stitch counts.

I use a 4.5mm hook and 2 strands of sport weight yarn (one plain, one fluffy) crocheted together to get a soft look.
