Our local police force asked for Trauma Teddies (they call them Bobby Buddies!) but the provided pattern called for lots of bits to be knitted separately and sewn on. I came up with this pattern to create a nearly no-sew version, just a handful of stitches from under the arm to the waist.

This pattern can be used for any Trauma Teddy program - just be sure there are no additions like buttons or beads! For non-UK-police versions, just change the garter stitch vest to a colourful shirt in stocking stitch and omit the sewn on radio!
