We’ve all been there - looking at that one ball of yarn you have kicking around, you know the one… Maybe it’s left over from another project, maybe someone gave you a gift, or maybe you got sucked into a last chance sale (I’m looking at you, Felici Worsted), And, you are wondering what on earth could be made from it.

I don’t especially like stripes, so I came up with this stripeless striping yarn hat variation. I hope you will enjoy the pattern as much as I have.

The bottom of the hat is knit sideways, then the top is completed with a series of domino squares.
