No waste headband is a simple, classic headband. The pattern is suitable for beginners, or you who are looking for a quick knitting project or want to get rid of leftover yarn from previous projects. There are therefore several knitting gauges to choose from, all depending on the yarn you have available.

There’s also included a formula to calculate the the right amount of stitches needed, if you have a gauge that differs from the one given in the pattern.

Measurements: To fit head circumference of 47-48 (49-50) 51-52 (53-54) 55-56 (57-58) 59-60 (61-63) cm

Gauge:
23 stitches x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 3.0 mm needles
or: 21 stitches x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 4.0 mm needles
or: 18 stitches x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 5.0 mm needles
or: 14 stitches x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 7.0 mm needles
