Have you always wanted to learn to knit sock?
Have you tried to knit socks, only to become frustrated?
Can you knit stockinette in the round?
Do you have 400 yards (366 m) of yarn?

Recently, a friend asked me to teach her the socks that I knit from memory. I only knit one type sock because
(1) they fit, and
(2) I can put them down, pick them up later, and know where I left off…without notes.

Her request was the push I needed to write the pattern down. It has been like writing a recipe. I had to slow down and think about what I do and why. I hope that, in time, you will be able to relax and just knit socks without stressed thinking. I always have a pair in process that I keep in the car for unexpected waiting.

This sock pattern is written in a class workbook format. I travel to teach and have included tutorials and in-process photos specifically selected for the beginner sock knitter.

And for the experienced knitter, the pattern is designed for relaxing knitting. The need to count stitches or rows is practically eliminated. Just knit.

So, measure that foot, pick any yarn, and gather two circular 16” needles.

I want to thank Rhichard Devrieze from the Yarns of Rhichard Devrieze for providing all yarn used in this pattern.

PS. I regularly check my messages. During this time of quarantine, I will respond to questions. Please be patient and nice. As this is Rev. 0, please let me know of any questions you may have or goobers I have made. Your feedback is critical.

Take care,
Kitty
