These are instructions for a size 6-12 month raglan sweater with a broken rib stitch panel running down the length of the back and a simple thin rib running the length of the sleeves.

The entire sweater is worked in the round except the bottom ribbing of the body, which is worked flat, allowing for a front rib and a back rib with side slits.

Instructions for the sweater include slight tweaks to the ribbing for the wrists and bottom edges so the sweater will look nearly identical and just as cute as the one pictured, but won’t be exactly the same.

This was designed for a 6-12 month old but if you have a big baby like I do, he or she will enjoy keeping cozy in this sweater well before then. My little big munchkin has been wearing his since 4 1/2 months and it fits him better every day.

Use what you’d like of course, but I would suggest choosing a plush, squishy wool yarn in a color that will work great over baby’s onesies and rompers.

This is my first sweater design. I have tried my best to be clear, precise and error-free. If you encounter any difficulties please let me know!
