This shawl or stole features rows of eyelets and a panel of lacy cables off to one side (no additional cable holder is needed). Noctis’ design reminds me of stars and swirling galaxies and the dark shade of the shawl brings to mind the night. Noctis actually means “of night” in Latin.

I made the shawl from 2 skeins of Madelinetosh DK yarn in the colorway Black Currant.

STITCHES AND TECHNIQUES YOU NEED TO KNOW:
To make this shawl or wrap you will need to know how to knit (k) and purl (p) stitches, do yarn overs (yo), knit two stitches together (k2tog) and pass a slip stitch over (psso).

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
The shawl measures approximately 39” x 13” and instructions are included if you wish to make it longer. Please note that you will need to use more yarn however.
