Nocturne is a semi-circular, all over lace shawl, available in two sizes (with 6 or 8 repeats at the top). Depending on the yarn used, it measures over 2m wide at the top, with 70-80cm drop. The larger option was designed to use one full skein of YarnArt Flowers (250g/1000m); the smaller option takes under 200g/800m of fingering-weight. The pattern has been modified slightly after knitting the larger prototype to accommodate for picot edging (I ran out of yarn too soon!). The second prototype exactly follows the pattern.

The pattern difficulty level is intermediate. Ability to read chart is critical, as the main pattern charted; there are no written row by row instructions.
