Noelia is an allover lace crop top, knit bottom-up in the round on circular needles. Stitches are placed on-hold for the straps and knitted flat. Finally, the back and front straps are joined using a 3 needle bind off on each side.

Although the lace pattern may look complicated if you have not knit lace before, it is fairly intuitive, with charts for the straps and the body and instructions on how to read the charts.

5-10cm/2-4in of negative ease is recommended; sample is size 1 worn with 8cm/3” of negative ease.

• Fiddlesticks Wren (100% Cotton; DK weight; 125m / 136yd per 71g ball, sample shown is knitted in colour “Musk”)
• Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK (100% Cotton; DK weight; 125m /137yd per 50g)
• Berroco Modern Cotton DK (60% Cotton/40% Viscose 306m/;335 yd per 100g) or any DK weight non-mercerised cotton/cotton blend yarn.

3.25mm circular needles, or size circular needles required to get gauge

1 repeat of the body chart = 7.5cm width for sizes 1,3,5,7
8.5cm in width for sizes 2,4,6,8
when knitted in the round on 3.25mm/US3 needles
I recommend making a gauge swatch.

Other notions required
Stitch holders/waste yarn, removable stitch markers, extra needle for 3 needle bind off, tapestry needle to weave in ends
