The NOHEA SHAWL (in Hawaiian it means beautiful) is SKEINO’s new Free Form Shawl. We decided to use our popular Moon Yarn for this shawl, which is knitted entirely in Garter Stitch.

The baby alpaca fibers are perfect to provide this airy, light weight and super soft feel. The pattern is easy to follow and the yarn changes are all on one side. A special instruction will show you how to thread one end into the other to avoid stitching in all the ends.

This Knitting Kit contains two skeins (100 grams each) for the base color (the outside skeins on our yarn images) and three skeins (50 grams each) for the forms and lines. The yarn for the Nohea Shawl is an I-cord yarn.

The cord inside is knitted from Nylon and the “knitted in” fibers are a blend of Baby Alpaca and for memory it uses Fine Merino.

We used our Moon Yarn for this knitting kit and we think it is the very best yarn we could find for this Shawl.

Besides the natural colors we offer a wide range of color combination. These are available in limited numbers.
