This sweater is for a small dog, around 7 to 10 lbs, although a shor-haired larger dog could probably wear it. It is soft and lightweight in Winterglow, a very light worsted wool/acrylic blend by Hobbii. The unique texture of the body is achieved with the simple but beautiful honeycomb stitch, worked in the round - 5mm double-ended Tunisian hook required! The ribbed turtle-neck can be made with a 5mm regular crochet hook. Measurements as well as stitch and row counts are given in the pattern, to help adapt it to other yarn weights and dog sizes using your gauge. You might want to have some familiarity with Tunisian crochet in the round, but I do describe it briefly in the pattern.
