Nonchalant Swancho is an oversized gartment that is a cross between and pullover and a poncho. The body is meant to be loose fitting with a deep V neckline so that it can be comfortably worn over as many layers as you like.

The fingering weight yarn makes it a perfect transition piece for Spring or Fall when a light covering is what you are looking for. The bottom hem is longer in the back. This is created by using short rows to shape the front/sides.

It is worked mostly in stockinette stitch with a cable accent along the top of both sleeves used to join the front to the back. The cable strip is worked separately and is sewn it to the front and back of each sleeve. Sleeves are bracelet length with Dolman slaping.

It comes in 2 sizes: S-M is meant to accommodate sizes up to 40” (102 cm) and L-XL meant to accommodate sizes up to 50” (122 cm). However, the deep V neckline means that there is plenty of room for full figured women!

This design was created using Done Roving Find your Fade set which comes with 6-300 yd skeins totaling 1800 yd/1646 m, 15.5 oz/439 g. The largest size was completed with 57 g/2 oz remaining.

My tester chose to use Plymouth Encore DK in 3 colors.

Gauge:20 st/32 r = 4”/10 cm in Garter Stitch.
