Noodle Socks is a detailed knitting pattern for top-down socks featuring a comfortable 3 × 3 ribbed texture, a reinforced Strong Heel, and an anatomical toe shaped separately for the right and left foot.

The pattern is suitable for intermediate knitters who are comfortable working in the round, following a chart, increasing, decreasing, and working short rows. The instructions are written for the Magic Loop method, but the socks can also be worked on double-pointed needles.

Sizes: EU 35–37, 38–39, 40–42, and 43–44.

Materials:
Fingering-weight sock yarn (400–420 m/100 g): 100 g for all sizes, supplied as one 100 g skein or two 50 g balls, for example:

  • Kremke Sole Mate - 75% wool, 25% biodegradable polyamide, (100 g / 420 m);
  • Kremke Edelweiss - 75% wool, 25% polyamide, (100 g / 420 m);
  • Lang Yarns Footprints - 45% cotton, 42% virgin wool, 13% nylon superwash (100 g / 400 m);
  • Regia 4-ply - 75% superwash wool, 25% polyamide, (100 g / 420 m);
  • Lang Yarns Jawoll - 75% wool, 25% nylon (50 g / 210 m);
  • Filcolana Arwetta Classic - 80% superwash merino wool, 20% nylon (50 g / 210 m);
  • Schoppel Wolle Zauberball Crazy - 75% superwash wool, 25% polyamide (100 g / 420 m).

Needles: 2.25–2.50 mm circular needles with an 80–100 cm cable, or double-pointed needles.

Gauge: 30 sts × 46 rnds = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette stitch after blocking.

  • detailed written instructions;
