Nook Socks are a part of the Geek-A-Long pattern series. The Geek-A-Long was created to raise awareness for Child’s Play Charity. $1 from each sale of this pattern will be donated to Child’s Play. So wind up your yarn, warm up your needles, and congratulate yourself on making the world a little brighter.

Inspired by the greedy racoon from Animal Crossing, Tom Nook, these socks are perfect for keeping your feet warm while you plant virtual flowers, and fish for virtual fish, and work to pay off Tom Nook’s predatory loans. Tom Nook: Always a loan.

Worked in soft, vibrant Vacation Yarn by Lattes & Llamas, these transitional length socks are an easy, relaxing knit for experienced fair isles sock knitters.

Recommended Yarn: 1 ball each (100g per ball) Lattes & Llamas Vacation Yarn in 2 sharply contrasting colors. Sample is knit in Palpatine (Black) and Slimer (Green).

Needles: US2 36” circular needles for working in magic loop, or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: 38sts and 36 rows = 4” in stranded colorwork. Instructions for a gauge swatch are included in the pattern.
