Noor sweater is a basic and oversized sweater with a detailed shoulder construction, wide sleeves and vents at the body. It is worked top down in stockinette stitch. First, the back piece is worked in rows with increases to shape the shoulders. Thereafter, you pick up stitches at the back side of the shoulders for the front pieces, which are then worked separately. Both front pieces are joined on one circular needle and the body is worked in the round, before you separate front and back again to create the side vents. The ribbing is worked in rows with selvedge stitches to create neat edges and is cast off with the Italian bind off method. Finally, you pick up stitches around the neckline and fold the ribbing double.

Check the sizes and measurements first. The measurements are calculated according to the gauge. Knit a gauge swatch first, so that you hit the correct gauge. Take measurements after washing. You might have to change the needle size to hit the correct gauge.
