.. Sometimes simple and understated is timeless and beautiful. These socks became one of my favourites almost immediately and have already seen a great deal of wear. I simply had to cast on another pair straight away so that I would have a spare pair ready..

This pattern is available in english / suomeksi. The socks are worked from the cuff down in the round on double-pointed needles.

Shoe size: EU 38 / 39
Leg cirqumference: approx. 16 cm / 6.3”
Leg height: approx. 12 cm / 4.7”
Foot circumference: approx. 19 cm / 7.5”
Foot length: approx. 24-25 cm / 9.4”-9.8”

Yarn requirements:
Schachenmayr REGIA Tweed (fingering weight)
colour (00090), approx. 100 g (1 skein)

Needles: 2.5 mm / US 1½ DPNs, or size needed to obtain gauge

Other materials: Tapestry needle and cable needle

Gauge: 30 sts and 42 rows in stockinette stitch = 10 cm (4x4”)
40 sts and 42 rows in lace / textured knitting = 10 cm (4x4”)

..Joskus yksinkertainen ja selkeä on hyvin ajaton ja kaunis. Näistä sukista tuli melkein heti yksi suosikeista ja ovat nyt jo olleet kovassa käytössä. Pakkohan se oli pistää toiset heti puikoille niin että sain heti varasukat talteen..
