This is the fourth square released for the In Mawwi blanket, this pattern was originally released as a graph on an ELCG (East London Crochet Group) worksheet in 2023, I have now added the written instructions and added the photo of the reverse of the square as well as the front.

This square is worked in Interlocking/double filet crochet from the bottom up.

Don’t be caught out by the double border on this square.

There are no instructions for joining the squares, every one has their own preferences but I use the standard front lacing method that the ELCG use.

If you have never worked in double filet/interlocking crochet before I would recommend a slightly simpler pattern.
