Nordic Blue Carry
The Nordic Blue Carry is a stylish shoulder or crossbody bag. It is made using interlocking crochet and then felted in the washing machine. Felting makes it both soft and durable.
YARN AND HOOK
100% Wool (always 100% wool for felting)
Worsted weight (Category 4): 70 m/50 g
hook: 5 mm
YARN CONSUMPTION
Background color: 200g
Relief color: 150g (three different colors: 50g each)
DIMENSIONS AFTER FELTING (FINISHED BAG)
Height: 27 cm
Width: 33 cm.
Shoulder strap: 95 cm.
From shoulder to bottom of bag: 70 cm.
Note: Final dimensions depend on yarn, crochet hook, crochet gauge and felting. The final measurements of the bag may be larger or smaller.
LANGUAGE
The pattern and all pattern parts are in English (US category) and Danish (DK category).
Tutorials are in English.

INTERLOCKING CROCHET
If you are not familiar with the interlocking crochet technique, the pattern comes with written instructions, chart, pictures and YouTube tutorials - all is explained and shown step by step.
If you are already familiar with interlocking crochet, you will probably like to know this:
Only F, B and solid stitches are used - no diagonals, so it is on the easier side of interlocking crochet
The interlocking crochet starts from a flat part (the bottom of the bag) and not the traditional Foundation Row, I believe this also makes the technique easier to start. The sides of the bag are worked in round rows and only from the right side.
