The Nordic Christmas Stocking has a traditional stars-and-nets motif on the front, and diagonal stripes on the back.

I knit mine with Hifa 2, but any sport weight wool would work as a substitute. Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift is an easy-to-find alternative, with an amazing color range to choose from.
