Like a breeze blowing colourful leaves marking the changing of seasons, the chevron shapes shift as if blown in the wind in colours shading from warm to cool. The direction of the chevrons come together to create a modern stylized version of the points of the classic nordic eight point star giving a touch of nordic cool to any outfit.

PATTERN NOTES

  • This cowl is knit in the round with the ends grafted together.
  • It begins with a provisional cast-on such as a crochet cast-on method with waste yarn.
  • The provisional cast-on in waste yarn is carefully undone to place the live stitches onto a second set of needles for grafting using the Kitchener stitch method.
