The Nordkatt Socks are a playful Nordic take on a classic Scandinavian colorwork tradition. Inspired by the iconic Marius style, these socks replace the familiar geometric motifs with curious cat faces, which was inspired by sleepy face of my little cat, Miso.
Worked from the cuff down, the socks feature stranded colorwork throughout the leg and foot, a classic heel flap and gusset construction for a comfortable fit, and a timeless silhouette suitable for everyday wear. The repeating motifs make these socks enjoyable to knit while allowing the colorwork pattern to take centre stage.

Note: Due to differences in stitch count between sizes, the main colorwork motif has been slightly adapted in some sizes to maintain the proportions and appearance of the design. For example, in the photo, the finished sock (size S) and sock on the needle (size M) is slightly different.
