Inspired by the colours in the Aurora Borealis, or Nordlys as it’s called in Norway, this design, converts from an infinity scarf to a shrug. Beads add a touch of twinkle. Nordlys is worked flat as a rectangle and the short ends are seamed.

Schoppel Zauberball
(4ply; 75% Superwash Wool/25% Nylon; 420m/459yds per 100g) x 2 skeins. Shown in shade: 2308 Smoking Area
4mm (UK 8/US 6) needles
Debbie Abrahams Seed Beads size 6, colour 340 Pebble x 784 (2 Bags)
0.75mm (US 14) crochet hook (for adding beads)
